Traci Cecco Emerges as the 2003 Patriot GNCC Champion in Petersburg, VA!

Team Alba Racing's Traci Cecco fought off the extreme 90 degree weather and a tough swampy woods course to win the inaugural Virginia Motorsports Park "The Patriot" GNCC race. Off the start Traci Cecco takes fourth overall in the Holeshot which was lead by Angel Atwell, Honda of Troy's Stephanie Parton, and Team Kawasaki's Heidi Landon heading into the woods. By the 8 mile marker of the 9+ mile course on the first lap Cecco passed her way to the lead position heading into the motorcross track and run out the next 3 laps of the 4 lap event to a 7 minute lead over 2nd.

Here's what Traci had to say about this great event!

" This track and weather today made it very demanding on your mind and body. There were several mud holes that looked to have almost completely swallowed other racers quads - It was so bad that Racer Productions had make shift bridges made out of Highway guard rails in some of these areas."

" With this extreme conditions my Alba Z never missed a beat and Maxxis Razr2 tires made the mud holes look easy. I would also like to thank all of the spectators that were cheering me on - It really helped kept me motivated to run harder today!"
