Team Alba's Traci Cecco Comes Back from a Turn 1 Collission & Roll-Over to Take the Win at Steel Creek
Catapulting Traci into the GNCC Lead Going Into Round 4 at Big Buck.

Determination was the word that has put Traci on the podium for the 2nd straight time this season. With a nasty first turn collision/ rollover - Traci seemed to effortlessly roll her Alba Z400 onto it's wheels and take off in last place to stalk down the Steele Creek first lap front runners Angel Atwell and 2002 GNCC Champion Stephanie Parton to within 3 seconds. With the Atwell and Parton in her sights, Traci made good by picking great lines as passing her way to first by the end of the second lap and pour on a comfortable 2 minute :41 second lead at the finish line.

Here's what Traci had to say about the race...
"My quad felt great today! After my first turn rollover I stayed calm and just kept a great pace going until I found Angel and Stephanie battling it out - I stayed back and let them pick there lines and I would always try something different - and it all worked out and I got my chance to pass each one of them for the lead. From there on I resumed my pace and got a nice comfortable lead by the end of the second lap so I could just cruise the last 2 laps - I didn't want to make any mistakes - I needed this win. At the finish line the referee did not get the checkered out in time and I was off to start the fifth lap until my brother flagged me down by the one mile marker to tell me I had the win!"

Center podium, that's a great place for an Team Alba Racing Quad!

With the Steele Creek win - Traci overtakes the GNCC Women's class points race going into Round #4 at Big Buck, SC. For more pictures and information - check out the GNCC website at www.gnccracing.com
