The Toughest Race Out There - The 2001 Baja 1000

Team Alba Prepares to Defend our title as Winner of the 2000 Baja 1000!

Team Alba Racing has teamed up with the companies below to defend our championship FIRST PLACE finish at the 2000 Baja 1000 - the toughest race out there. (see map) The amazing thing, is that Team Alba Racing will run a close-to-stock Bombardier DS 650. Other than a Team Alba Racing pipe kit, the motor will be stock. As will the A-Arms, and Swing Arm. Actually the only things we've changed are listed below. The trick red plastic is a prototype and should be available from Bombardier in a few months. Most people think we're crazy to not fully rebuild from the ground up - but as we proved last year, we really know what we're doing. And Bombardier's DS-650 proved itself to be one tough mother!

The Baja 1000 Starts Friday, November 9th and will finish 1000 miles later, sometime on Saturday, with as few stops as possible.
