TJ started
racing at the age of 10. In 2000 he set out to win the ATV
State Beginner class and advance to Pro-Am. Despite a broken
collar bone early in the season, TJ Was still able to win
the title. The following year, he advanced to the State Pro-Am
class and was the youngest rider in the class.
In
2001 TJ took second in the Montana Pro-Am class, beaten out
only by his Dad who took the championship. In 2004 TJ came
out to California for the GNCC season opener at Glen Helen,
finishing an impressive 4th in 16 - 24 class and 5th in 250B
class. And then, after a series of strong rides and fierce
dedication, he finished the 2004 State season with a Pro-Am
championship! TJ also raced several events in the ITP Quadcross
series with several class podium finishes. TJ started racing
in the ITP Pro class January of 2006. He is the current 450
four stroke expert and the 265 two stroke to 450 four stroke
expert champion for the 2005 season.
TJ notes that his family is a big part of the
sport for him. Whether he's at the track or just riding for
fun, his family is by his side. They are his biggest supporters.
In an attempt to become and even better rider,
TJ has taken riding classes from Joe Byrd. His goal is to
win an ATVA National Championship.
