Dean started racing at the age of 12. In 2004 he set out to win the ITP Quad cross at Glen Helen. Dean ended up winning the title in the 451 Open Class at the age of 13 while riding a Predator 500. In April of 2005, after getting stuck in the mud, he won 3rd place in the White Brothers 4 Stroke MX Champion Ship. From there he finished the 2005 Season winning the Championship in the ITP Quad Cross Novice 265 450 Class and the Championship in the Thunder In The Valley Series B Class. He then took 1st in the White Brothers World 4 Stroke MX Championship in April of 2006.

For the 2006 Season, Dean skipped the Intermediate Class and went directly to Expert in the ITP Quad Cross and Pro-Am in Thunder In The Valley. Dean is currently in the top 3% in both series and looking for the overall win with a little hard work.

Dean notes that his family is a huge part of the sport for him. Look for them at the track as the ALBA Trackside Support Tent. They are helping Alba reach out to riders where they need the most support, at the track.
