Ellis Destroys the Competition at LACR...
...but a destroyed axle in moto
1 for a DNF overshadows his commanding win in moto 2.
Ellis gets the hole-shot
in both motos but was taken out early in moto 1 after
his axle - that had been straightened one too many times
- gave out - causing a DNF for moto 1. Ellis ran away
with Moto 2 - finishing first, 12-seconds ahead of 2nd.
Darryll Patton and Jeremy Shell put on a good show with
a great battle throughout the race that will carry through
to the last race of the season. The two are only 1 point
apart for the overall ITP championship. |
