FUEL - Requires high-octane race fuel if using with an aftermarket ignition (other than the MSD ignition running our map).
***Race fuel can be avoided by using our MSD ignition. The MSD ignition will allow us to retard ignition timing and therefore allows the use of premium fuel.

Unit needs a valve adjustment and oil change after 10 hours of use
Fuel Requirement: Must use race fuel unless our MSD ignition is used! If using the MSD ignition, then they must use premium fuel.

Compression Stock Bore Piston:We
have designed a piston with an optimum compression
ratio of 11:1 – (stock is 9.1:1). At 11.1
you can run premium pump gas. Also available is a
2mm oversize piston (686cc). This will
add some additional power yet still run premium gas. The oversized piston option is available only if the condition of your cyclindar permits.

Crafted Alba Camshaft; We worked
closely with Web Cam to develop the best all around camshaft
possible. We went thru 11 different designs before finding
the “perfect grind”. Note that you must send
us your old cam or there will be a core charge.
Customers have 2 Cam choices:
1) All around performance - good for crawling and general getting around
2) Peak horsepower - good for dunes and racing

Custom Head Porting: The stock
Rhino head is not designed for performance. We use porting to redesign the intake and exhaust
ports. There is no room for guesswork when porting –
once done there is no turning back. That’s why
the research – to assure you of just the right
design for optimum flow. And we make sure that everything is spot-on using our Flow Bench. We tested many combinations
and found that the Rhino head ports need to be totally
reshaped to build up new ports. This is very similar
to what is used in Formula 1 and NASCAR race engines
to extract every bit of power. When the head is finished
we match the parts on your intake manifold to the head
to ensure maximum flow and serious horsepower gains.
